Lambert Zuidervaart will give a keynote lecture during the Arts and Ethics conference at Trinity Western University in Langley, BC on October 18. The title for Lambert’s keynote is “Creating a Disturbance: Art, Ethics, and Relational Autonomy.” The lecture elaborates ideas from his recent book Art in Public: Politics, Economics, and a Democratic Culture (Cambridge University Press, 2011). Lambert Zuidervaart will present a paper in a session on “Art, Religion, and the Sublime” at the annual meeting of the American Society for Aesthetics in St. Louis on October 25.
